We are very excited to be a part of this year’s Bentonville Film Festival, whose mission is to amplify the underrepresented stories of women, LGBTQ+, people of color, and people with disabilities in entertainment and media, in partnership with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
Over 80% of the 68 selected films are directed by women. The 2020 festival takes place virtually August 10-16, with UNLADYLIKE2020 films on the first African American woman pilot Bessie Coleman, pioneering botanist Ynés Mexía, and trendsetting movie star and fashion icon Anna May Wong, streaming here.
