An excerpt of UNLADYLIKE2020’s documentary short about Charlotta Spears Bass is featured on the Paley Center for Media’s interactive exhibit in honor of Black History Month, February 2021: Making History: Black Women in Government and Politics.
In addition to Bass, the exhibit spotlights early Presidential candidates Charlene Mitchell and Representative Shirley Chisholm, political icons such as Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and Former UN Ambassador Susan Rice, and the current wave of Black women shaping American politics such as Vice President Kamala Harris Black History Month, Stacey Abrams, Former Representative Mia Love, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Representative Val Demings, and others.
