For more than a decade, Lauren has worked across content production, strategy, and distribution for public media. As the digital managing editor for the PBS series American Experience, she oversaw the reimagining of the series’ digital content and presence across digital platforms. Also for American Experience, Lauren managed the theatrical distribution of and community engagement campaign for the Oscar-nominated film Last Days in Vietnam, and the film Command and Control. She managed all aspects of the multi-platform engagement campaigns for the landmark series We Shall Remain, and for the 2011 Emmy-winning documentary Freedom Riders. She also served as an associate producer for the Emmy Award- winning film JFK. In addition to her work for UNLADYLIKE2020, Lauren also serves as a producer for the Transparency Project at FRONTLINE, PBS’s news and current affairs series. Prior to her tenure in public television, she worked in public affairs in Washington, DC, specializing in public relations and grassroots organizing.
