History Nebraska presents Unladylike2020 – Nebraska Trailblazers and their National Counterparts, an outdoor event at the Nebraska History Museum in Lincoln, NE featuring four UNLADYLIKE2020 shorts, including those about Nebraska natives Grace Abbott and Susan La Flesche Picotte.
Begin your evening by engaging with the national award-winning exhibit Votes for Women: the Nebraska Suffrage Story at the Nebraska History Museum. Don’t miss the original portrait of Grace Abbott by artist Amelie Chabannes that will be featured in one of the films. The screening will kick off with remarks by local leaders and close with a Q&A with series creator, producer, and director Charlotte Mangin.
This program is made possible by Humanities Nebraska and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
