San Antonio Black International Film Festival

UNLADYLIKE2020 profiles of aviator Bessie Coleman and civil rights advocate Mary Church Terrell are screening on October 2nd, 2021 at 4pm CDT at the 2021 San Antonio Black International Film Festival, along with an interview with Executive Producer Sandy Rattley discussing the making of the series, and our goal to change the way women’s history is taught. 

The San Antonio Black International Film Festival (SABIFF) serves as a vehicle to support and advocate for quality Black films and filmmakers international in scope, and expose audiences to diverse industry professionals, impactful events, and films created by, for and about people of African Descent throughout the Diaspora. Its third annual festival, SABIFF 2021, will screen virtually September 30th – October 3rd, 2021 at SABIFF.TV. The theme of this year’s festival, Sistahrz in Cinema, showcases a diverse mix of global films from Brazil to South Africa and highlights Black Women Creatives, talented Women innovators from screenwriters to producers to costume creators.
