A virtual screening and Q&A with Project Scientist, a non-profit organization that encourages girls and young women to pursue STEM. We will screen two UNLADYLIKE2020 shorts about incredible and little-known women in science history — Williamina Fleming, who discovered over 300 stars, and trailblazing botanist Ynés Mexía — followed by a Q&A with series creator Charlotte Mangin, astronomer Wendy Freedman, best known for her measurement of the Hubble constant, and ethnobotanist Ina Vandebroek, assistant curator and program director at the New York Botanical Garden.
