PBS Utah

Join PBS Utah for a sneak peek screening of three shorts from UNLADYLIKE2020. For this virtual event we preview profiles on the following pioneering women: Martha Hughes Cannon (first woman state senator), Zitkála-Šá (composed the first American Indian opera), Lois Weber (first woman to direct a feature-length film). Following the clips, PBS Utah’s Nancy Green will moderate a panel with the series creator, Charlotte Mangin, along with Jenny Reeder, historian for the LDS Church, and Jane Hafen, English professor at UNLV and expert in Native American Studies.

This virtual program is made possible by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a private corporation funded by the American people.
