We’re very excited to partner with Georgia Public Broadcasting for a special virtual screening event, in celebration of Women’s Equality Day on Wednesday, August 26th!
The event will include a screening of two shorts from the UNLADYLIKE2020 series on two amazing women, with strong ties to Georgia, who changed America: the first woman member of U.S. congress, Jeannette Rankin, and dare-devil Sonora Webster Carver.
There will be a great live post-screening discussion to follow with GPB’s Virginia Prescott, UNLADYLIKE2020’s Executive Producer Sandra Rattley, Samantha Ramirez-Herrera (Entrepreneur and Activist), and Dr. Pearl Dowe (Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Political Science and African American Studies at Emory University).
